This is the sound that welcomes me any time i go into the kitchen: it is produced by an old "made in italy" clock called veglia (like the one in this picture: http://i63. Tinypic. Com/2lb13io. Jpg) that is functioning since my grandfather bought it, many years ago.

I was waiting for a person inside the conservatory of venice and i decided to try some field (or better room) recordings. There were two chinese students talking to each other, some passerbys, an elevator and people reharsing and studying music. Recorded with a zoom h1, low cut in audacity.

A raw, unedited, 5-minute field recording of various people (kids and adults) done at a school lobby (a therapy center to be exact), somewhere in my hometown. This is perfect for small to medium-sized crowds and the like. ~. The only way to get good classroom ambiance is to record it in a classroom. That's exactly what this is. Recorded in a classroom as the students were studying and the teacher was quietly walking around. You'll hear a few random noises, some papers shuffling, some very muffled dialog, an air conditioner in the background.
